Below is a description of how the ESTETICA.IT website is managed in relation to the processing of personal data submitted by users who consult the website and use the relative web services. This informative document refers only to the ESTETICA.IT website and not to other websites that may potentially be consulted by the user through links. All the personal data of the subjects (physical and/or legal persons) who, for various reasons, access the services offered in the site will be processed by Edizioni Esav Srl in conformity with current laws and, in any case, with the necessary reserve. The optional and voluntary e-mail messages sent to the addresses indicated on the site results in the acquisition of the sender's e-mail address, as well as other personal data inserted in the message necessary in order to respond to the request. Access to special services or the response to specific requests may entail completing a form (coupon) with personal data; in this case the acquisition of the requested data is necessary for the execution of all the operations in the interest of the subject, while not having the information may make it impossible to manage such services. Upon completion of the coupon, the specific information relative to the service/s requested may be consulted. In relation to the purposes indicated, the processing of personal data occurs through manual, electronic, and telematic means with logics strictly correlated to the purposes and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data itself according to the law. The IT systems and software procedures used for the management of the website acquire, during standard operations, some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with specific persons, but the nature of which may, through elaboration and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify the user. This category includes IP addresses or dominion names of the computers operated by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in making the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the response status given by the server (completed successfully, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. These data are used only for the purpose of gathering anonymous statistic information on the use of the site and to control that it is functioning correctly. They are stored for the times defined by current laws in force. The data may be used to ascertain liability in case of hypothetical IT crimes that may damage the site. Cookies (small text files that the web site transfers to the visitor’s computer to manage additional functions necessary for a complete enjoyment of the site and /or tracking visitors on different pages) are used only to monitor the effectiveness of the site's presence on line and highlight the pages visited more frequently; cookies are never used to extract personal data like names or e-mail addresses. The information collected via the cookies are stored on an anonymous basis for statistical purposes, like verifying how many contacts the site has during a specific time period or the frequency of the visits, or the paths followed among the pages visited.
