The International Hairdressing Awards announce their 3rd Edition
After the huge success of their two first editions, the International Hairdressing Awards announce the calendar of their third year.
The third edition of the International Hairdressing Awards will take place in February 2021 in a completely new and surprising format that cannot yet be unveiled, this year exceptionally due the Covid-19 health crisis. The International Hairdressing Awards are supported by Revlon Professional as main sponsor, Estetica Magazine as global media partner and Salón Look Madrid – Ifema as sponsor.
“The global health crisis of the Covid-19 has forced to reformulate the massive events and to act with great prudence to control the spread of the pandemic. In this way, by responsibility, the organizing committee of the International Hairdressing Awards has proposed a new way of carry out the third year of the contest to continue the success of the previous editions, a new format that will revolutionize the awards in the world of hairdressing. We are sure that it will be very well received and we encourage all the hairdressers in the world to participate with their collections," explained Mikel Luzea, director and founder.
Every hairdresser from all over the world can take part in the contest by signing up at www.ihawards.com and uploading their photographic collections (4 pictures of 4 different hairdressing styles, professional shooting, hi-res), without participation fees. Two categories, International Haidresser of the Year and International Artistic Team of the Year, need a pre-selection to take part. The remaining categories (Best International Men’s Collection, Best International Women’s Collection and Best International Avant-Garde Collection) are open to every hairdresser. The two honorific categories (International Hair Legend of the Year and International Hair Influencer of the Year) are delivered by the organizing committee and are not open to general participation.
